Hi folks. The reason there was no comic this week was because I was and still am a bit busy. Tommy and I got engaged last week and we are now planning our wedding. That’s .. a pretty big deal.


There are alot of things to do.. good luck work is a bit slack at the moment. A friend joked that I would become a real Bride-zilla but Tommy said I’d only become a Fie-zilla. I asked him what that was and he explained that I am pretty all over the place and emotional as it is so there won’t really be a change there. Haha, I’m lucky he puts up with me.

I feel really lucky. We’ve been together for five and a half years now so it’s about time.
Since it’s not gonna be a big wedding we won’t wait too long either. We are thinking of having it
sometime early this summer. I’ll probably post images here as well laters..

Two years ago, it was.

Two long years since the domain next-era.net, together with a Dreamhost account giving us obscene amounts of webspace and bandwidth, was purchased as a step-up from the old JX-hosted wiki on karlstrom.se/mhw/, that you probably don’t remember. It was because we ran out of space there the much more comfortable Dreamhost account (which as of now has “unlimited” storage space and bandwidth, even though we weren’t even using a fraction of what we had) was purchased.

Purchased for a two year period, that is.

Now, we’re not really that bad off. $190,80 (that’s €150,85; or 1689,80 SEK. Or £135,03. Or ¥19422,77. Or- you get it) for two more years is what we’re facing, and there’ll be at least four of us splitting that sum. This website isn’t the only thing using our hosting account, since karlstrom.se has been moved over here as well, used mainly by my brother. Yes, he’s going to be one of the people paying for the new period.

That said, if you like us, and want to give us your soul, eternal love, sexual favours, etc etc etc – no better way to do it than to donate a few dollars for the payment! Donators will be recognized in some special way here on the site – perhaps in some sort of hall of shame fame, but I should probably run that idea with the crew first.

Since I’ll be the one handling the financial stuff amidst this crisis, donations go through me. That is, through my Paypal, since we have not and will not be arsed to set up an account for the whole thing. I mean, we pay only every two years. Of course, if you want to give us money for other occasions, you’re welcome to do so, but we’re only going to spend it on porn and booze video games and ice cream.

Also – because of the impending doom upcoming celebration for our beloved artist, while any donation money that comes in will be used for hosting payment only, I will personally match the total donated sum and pitch that in towards the cost of the wedding.

So a donation would serve not only one, but two purposes!
